PERIOD SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION

Helping Mamas is committed to keeping girls in school and women in the workforce. We partner with school nurses to provide period product packs to distribute to girls who need them.

Working together with our 150 partner agencies we are making sure girls and women have access to period supplies that are essential to succeeding in education and workforce development.

MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Helping Mamas is proud to partner with Georgia Stomp to be a voice of change in Georgia. Georgia Stomp is a new statewide coalition of organizations formed to address the issues of menstrual equity and period poverty in Georgia. Helping Mamas is working with the coalition to eliminate the 4% state sales tax Georgians are charged on the medically necessary, unavoidable items they need to manage their periods with dignity.

Working in partnership with Alliance for Period Supplies and U by Kotex we are able to distribute hundreds of thousands of period supplies to low income women and girls in Georgia.
