Diapers, Baby Supplies & Period Products

Changing Lives, One Essential at a Time

Helping Mamas is Georgia’s only basic needs supply bank, connecting nonprofit and healthcare partners with essential items that families often struggle to access—especially diapers, baby supplies, and period products. These critical items are not covered by government assistance programs, yet they are foundational to a family’s stability and a child’s healthy development.

Through a network of community partners and innovative distribution models, we work to reduce diaper need, fight period poverty, and ensure families have the supplies they need to thrive. When these basic needs are met, parents can focus on long-term goals like employment, education, and recovery—while children grow up in safe, healthy, and nurturing environments.

Meeting these unmet needs creates ripple effects: improving family well-being, promoting economic stability, and breaking generational cycles of poverty.

Explore the programs below to see how Helping Mamas distributes essential items and supports families through targeted initiatives designed to meet their most pressing needs.

Partner Distribution Program

Helping Mamas partners with nonprofit and healthcare organizations to distribute diapers, period products, and baby supplies efficiently and equitably through two core programs.

Bulk Distribution Program

We partner with organizations serving large numbers of families by providing bulk distributions of diapers and period products. This helps partners meet the needs of their clients consistently and at scale.

Warehouse Shopping Program

Social workers and case managers can “shop” for free at our warehouse, hand-selecting baby and period supplies tailored to the families they serve. This ensures direct, dignified support for those in need.

Targeted Family Support Programs

These programs provide essential supplies to families receiving public assistance or navigating the early months of parenthood, helping reduce financial strain and improve child well-being.

TANF Diaper Program

Families receiving TANF benefits can receive up to 1,200 diapers or pull-ups per child, helping to relieve diaper insecurity and stretch household budgets.

CAPS Diaper Program

We support families receiving Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) benefits by providing diapers, wipes, car seats, and pack ’n plays. This also supports daycare providers serving CAPS-enrolled children.

Nursery Needs Program

We supply families with newborn essentials—diapers, wipes, car seats, strollers, and safe sleep items—during a baby’s first four months of life, ensuring a healthy and safe start.

Safe Sleep and Ride Program

We provide safe sleep spaces and properly fitted car seats to ensure every child has a secure way to sleep and travel.
